Actor Sujata Day and Filmmaker, ‘Insecure’ Signs With WME (Exclusive)
Actor Sujata Day -She now became very popular Day recently made her directorial debut with ‘Definition Please,’ sujata won an Outstanding Directorial Debut Award at the 2020 South Asian Film Festival of America. and WME has signed director, writer and actor Sujata Day for representation in all areas.
Sujata Day has starred as CeCe in Issa Rae’s The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl and appeared in three seasons on HBO’s Insecure. She h improv comedy ,sketch-writing skills at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and she regularly performed in UCB’s hit Asian AF show. Her narrative short film, Cowboy and Indian, sold to a major studio for series development with Day writing, executive producing and starring.
